The public demo for DOCTRINEERS, a turn-based strategy game. Includes 11 Campaign missions.

Install instructions
Unzip the archive file and run the .exe. Currently there's only a Windows build, but I've been told by multiple people that it runs well with WINE.
The game works in the itch.io desktop app, and runs in the sandbox, for security conscious users.

The Advance Wars inspiration is very clear! I can feel the heart that went into making this.
Some low-hanging fruit from a usability perspective:
Wait meaning "move" was confusing for me at first. I wasn't sure if I'd be entering some sort of overwatch mode or anything.
It felt like having some sort of button on the screen to pull up the menu would also be helpful. A visual affordance that I can anchor myself around a bit.
